I found that doing problems for the PE exam is the best way to study. This book gives you problems in each of the disciplines that are on the exam, but doesn’t give them in the format that is on the exam. The exam has one question per “situation” whereas this book asks several questions based upon one “situation”. Even though the problems are not in the format, they are comparable in difficulty to the problems on the PE exam. If you are looking for problems, this book provides them. The only issue with the book is that the solutions often reference the reference books like the steel manual or books from ACI, which you may or may not have. Overall, a helpful book if you want more practice problems.
